She was predeceased by: her parents, Glenn Cole and Donnie Hensley Cole; her husband Steve Norton; her children, Carolyn Lampley, Donald and Larry Norton; her brothers, Melvin, Harlon and Randy Cole; and her grandson Shane Pennell.
She is survived by: her daughters, Evonne Thomas (Jim) and Susie Pennell; and her sister Edna Messer.
