She was predeceased by: her parents, Katie McGalliard and Ruben Benton Gillispie; her husband James David Sigmon; her stepson Jerry Sigmon; and her sisters, Ruby Duncan and Hanna Belle Roland.
She is survived by: her stepchildren, Brenda Buchanan (Mike) and Darryl Sigmon (Gloria). She is also survived by several step grandchildren & great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Beam Funeral Service & Crematory (2170 Rutherford Rd, Marion, NC 28752). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
