He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Hollifield and Katie Biddix Hollifield; and his sister Edith Poteat. He is survived by: his sons, William E. Hollifield of Marion and Matthew V. Hollifield (Marnie); and his grandchildren, Andrew E. Hollifield of Davidson, NC. and Lillian M. Hollifield of Davidson, NC.. He is also survived by family members.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Beam Funeral Service & Crematory (2170 Rutherford Rd, Marion, NC 28752). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
