He is survived by: his wife Teresa Kirkley; his daughters, Donna Kirkley Simpson (Mark) and Gwen Kirkley Hansen (Elmer); his grandchildren, Emily Simpson-Keyes (Alex), Luke Simpson and Erik Hansen (Brittany); his great grandchildren, Lorelai, Emma and Avery; and his siblings, Connie Black (Ed) and Neil Kirkley (Paula).
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Grace Baptist Church (930 Shady Ln, Marion, NC 28752). A funeral service was held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
