He was predeceased by: his parent Starling David "Todd" Hollifield (Elsie Buchanan Hollifield); and his grandparents, Bruce, Mattie Hollifield, Wallace and Carrie Buchanan.
He is survived by: his sons, Ryan Dean Hollifield and Nathan Todd Hollifield (Tiffany Davis Hollifield); his siblings, Ellen Hollifield (Donald Ray Hollifield) of Starling, Sue Duncan and Bruce Wayne Hollifield; and his sisters-in-law, Rita Solesby (James), Francine Swofford, Marilyn Jordan (Stanley), Donna Schrum (Gary) and Jennifer Swofford. He is also survived by his wife and sons, his siblings and sisters-in-law.
In lieu of flowers, it is requested that donations be made to the Gideons (specifying King James Bibles only, please), or to Mt Calvary FWB Church, PO Box 310, Marion, earmarked for either St Jude Children's Research Hospital or for the Free Will Baptist Children's Home Christmas fund.
