She was predeceased by: her parents, Cora Lee Patty and William Turner; her husband Terry B. Sloan; her sons, Chuck Godwin and Michael Godwin; and her siblings, Kenneth, Melvin Patty and Ellen Gentry.
She is survived by: her children, Deborah Godwin, Robin Miller, Theresa Robinson (Jerry), Doris "Lynn" Cadwell (Phil), Cydney Sloan, Kim McClure (Michael) and Donald Godwin. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
