Though Paul may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his wife Ruth Washburn Edwards. He is survived by: his daughters, Wanda Edwards Clark (Douglas) and Kathy Edwards Wright (Lester); his sister Estelle Bryant; and his grandchildren, Leesha Wolfe (Chris), Joseph Clark (Ginger), Dougie Clark and Joshua Wright (Jennifer). He is also survived by five great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Beam Funeral Service & Crematory (2170 Rutherford Rd, Marion, NC 28752). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial donations may be made to Turkey Cove Baptist Church or The Washburn Family Cemetery.
