She was predeceased by: her parents, Festus D. McClure and Georgia McKimsey McClure; her sister Barbara Morgan; and her close friend Bob Mashburn. She is survived by: her children, Sue Parker (Jimmy) and Doug Shelton (Donna); her grandchildren, Suzanne Webb (Robert), Chris Church (Chelsia), Marie Church (Tyler Scoles), Jonathan Braswell (Samantha), Jeremy Martino (Emily) and Savannah Shelton; her great grandchildren, TJ, Abby, Briley, Oliver, Riley, Millie, Natalie, Elaina, Hudson and Melanie; her brother Donald McClure (Sharon); and her pets, Sam and Rosie. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Sugar Hill Baptist Church (657 Mud Cut Rd, Marion, NC 28752). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
