She was predeceased by: her parents, Stephen Albert Grant and Katherine Jean Safford Bigelow. She is survived by: her sons, James I. Allen of Marion and Jaden Allen of Marion; her brothers, Mike Grant of Marion and Joshua Grant (Maria) of Italy; her stepdaughters, India Allen, Ineeka Allen and Ineeshia Allen; the father of her children James L. Allen of Durham; her granddaughter Lauren Danielle Jackson; her nephews, Alexander and Jaxon Grant of Italy; and her aunt Teresa Jones.
