She was predeceased by: her parents, William Harrison Whiteside and Shirley Barnett Whiteside; and her grandparents, Columbus, Charlotte Barnett, Lewis and Ora Lee Whiteside.
She is survived by: her siblings, William "Bill" Whiteside (Roberta) of Burnsville and Laura Young of Hickory.
