He was predeceased by: his parents, Morris Johnson and Alma Louise Johnson; and his sisters, Irene "Sally" Deyton and Savanna Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Johnson; his brother Douglas Johnson (Kathy); his children, Kelly Suttles, Wendy Wisor (Rick), Kevin Suttles (Betty), John Johnson (Mimi) and Josh Johnson (Heather); and his grandchildren, Ricky Wisor (Delaney), Sierra Cox (Alex), Chelsea Fabbri (Justin), Kyle Cox, Jacob Suttles (Lexi), Christian Johnson (Jasmine), Tyler Johnson and Grayson Johnson. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Clinchfield United Methodist Church (151 Ridge Rd, Marion, NC 28752). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
