He was predeceased by: his parents, James Lowell Phillips and Myrtle Wray Phillips. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Wrenn Phillips; his son Brent Phillips (Tricia Rae Atanasio); his brother Larry Phillips (Flo); his grandchildren, Owen, Hoke and Maggie Phillips; his nephew Steve Phillips (Michelle); his great-nephew Bobby Phillips; and his great-niece Mackenzie Phillips.
