Hilda Sue McGee Edwards Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hilda Sue McGee Edwards of Marion, North Carolina, who passed away on March 16, 2025, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Willard Jesse McGee and Rena Isabelle McHeffey McGee; and her husband Jerry Joel Edwards, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Erin Rupp (Jo), Joel Edwards, Timothy Edwards and Jacob Edwards (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Sienna Edwards, Madilyn Edwards and Elijah Edwards; and her brothers, Stuart McGee and Jeff McGee (Jamie).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Harvest Time Baptist Church (130 Franklin Ave, Marion, NC 28752). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to CarePartners Hospice & Palliative Care- McDowell.
