With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Hazel Louise Rosenbaum Callahan of Marion, North Carolina, born in Bristol, Tennessee, who passed away on February 6, 2025 at the age of 87. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Rosenbaum and Hildred Feathers Smith; and her sister Peggy Lefler. She is survived by: her children, Deborah Hooser (Ricky) and Bill Callahan (Lynne); and her grandchildren, David Cook (Jackie), Robert Cook, Gary Cook (Dawn), Billy Higgins, Richard Hooser (Stephanie), Brian Hooser, Louis Hooser, Jonathan Johnson (Caytee), Matthew Callahan, Andrew Johnson and Sarah Myers.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Beam Funeral Service & Crematory (2170 Rutherford Rd, Marion, NC 28752). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at the McDowell Memorial Park (327 Memorial Park Rd, Marion, NC 28752).
