He was predeceased by: his parents, James Rosencrantz Schultz and Ruby Rippy Schultz; his son Jimmy Schultz; and his siblings, C. B. Schultz, Boyd Schultz, Jerry Schultz, Earl Schultz and Ozelle Ray.
He is survived by: his children, Joy Schultz, Michael Schultz and Crystal Schultz (Roy Massey); his grandchildren, Chloe, Oliver and Justin; and also Patricia McAbee. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Hillcrest Free Will Baptist Church (2913 Harmony Grove Rd, Nebo, NC 28761).
