He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Vernon Gardner and Margaret Maphrey Hughes Gardner; and his siblings, Wilma Morgan, Donnie and Richard Gardner.
He is survived by: his wife Ann; his children, Sherry Pruett (Allen) of Marion, Robert Gardner (Laurie) of Marion and Anna Gardner (Nick Stevens) of Marion; his grandchildren, Jessica Glovier (Matthew), Nolan Pruett (Allee), Heather Rigdon (Will), Jack Norton and Nova Stevens; his great grandchildren, Skyler Rigdon, Bryce Rigdon and Mason Norton; and his siblings, Sue Quinn of North Cove and Jim Gardner of Nebo.
