It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Lee Scott of Marion, North Carolina, who passed away on April 25, 2025, at the age of 55, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Oretha Scott and Leroy Logan; his grandparents, James Willie Scott, Sr. and Odie Scott; and his uncles, James "Tudy" Scott and Ronnie Scott.
He is survived by: his sister Siletha Scott; his aunt Violet Freeman; his nieces and nephews, Rondald Junior Davis, Shacodie Scott and Brendon Thompson; his cousins, Bryan Freeman, April Pennix, Jessica Taylor and Leon Logan, Jr.; and his close friend Mechelle Smith. He is also survived by other nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Beam Funeral Service & Crematory (2170 Rutherford Rd, Marion, NC 28752).
