He was predeceased by: his parents, Georgia Marie Kimsey McClure and Festus; his pet Dee McClure; and his sisters, Linda McClure Shelton and Barbara McClure Morgan.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Hendley McClure; his children, Kristi McClure Lawing and Kyle McClure; his grandchildren, Levi Lawing, Rebecca Lawing, Silas McClure, Millie McClure and Max McClure; his brother-in-law Frank Morgan; and his caregiver April Lowley. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Sugar Hill Baptist Church, 657 Mudcut Road, Marion, NC 28752 or to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills.
