We are sad to announce that on February 16, 2025 we had to say goodbye to David Terry McPeak Sr. of Marion, North Carolina. Though David Terry may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those David Terry touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Columbus McPeak and Cora Strickland McPeak. He is survived by: his children, David McPeak (LaShonda) and Jackie Lilly; and his sister Gail Swchitzer (Butch). He is also survived by eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Chapel of the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery (962 Old US Hwy 70, Black Mountain, NC 28711).
