He was predeceased by: his parents, Ford Brown and Helen Soules Brown; and his brother Gary Brown. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Jean Brown; and his siblings, Brian Brown (Joan), Rob Brown (Brenda), Gail Murphy and Sandee Murphy. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
