She was predeceased by: her parents, William Edward West and Bessie Ellen Garrett; her siblings, Mary Chapman, Ruby West, Billy West, Maxi West and Gene; and her daughter Carol Fowler.
She is survived by: her children, Jodi Mathews, Sandy Hildenbrand, Buford E. Fowler, Jr. (Gene), Philip Fredrick Fowler and William Lanford Fowler; and her sister Sandra Tweedy. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
