He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Reed and Elsie Penley Reed; his daughter Brenda; his granddaughters, Rebecca Buckner and Cassie Fender; and his siblings, Ruby Hurt, Charles Reed, Clarence Reed Jr., Wayne Reed, Harold Reed Sr. and Pearl.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ella Morgan Reed; his daughters, Barbara Reed, Sharon "Ann" Fender, Lynn Buckner and Sandra Fender (Kenny); and his grandchildren, Stephen Buckner, II (Kayla), Timothy Buckner, Ryan Buckner, Chelsea Lowery (Thomas), Jordan Pressley (Andrew), Kendra Fender (Brandon Lamb) and Callie Fender (Tyler Cook). He is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren.
