She is survived by: her husband Joben Clifford Patterson; her granddaughters, Christi of Murphy, NC, Misti Killian of Murphy, NC and Kandi Casa of Murphy, NC; her siblings, Albert Newton (Rebecca) of Murphy, Therman Newton (Jody) of Murphy and Annie Mae Dockery (Bobby) of Alabama; her sister-in-law Ruth Newton of Blairsville; and her caregivers, Angela Freeman and Annie Smith.
