He is survived by: his wife Lena Flynn; his daughter Juanita Whited; his sisters, Wanda Richardson, Kathryn Bailey and Alice Little; and his grandchildren, James Tyson, Alyssa Archer and Bryan Whited. He is also survived by three great grandchildren.
