He was predeceased by: his parents, William Rufus and Gloria Gladys Smith Campbell; his wife Catherine Campbell; and his siblings, Ethel Campbell, Charlie and Richard Campbell.
He is survived by: his daughter Misty Campbell of Murphy, NC; his stepsons, Stephen Blankenship of Sylva, NC and Jamie Blankenship of Shelbyville, TN; his siblings, Carolyn Ledford (Earl) of Marble, NC, Karen Carpenter of Marion, NC and Mike Campbell of Marble, NC; and his nieces and nephews, Jani Graper (Joe), Whitney McPherson (Josh), Jeff Ledford (Dawn), Jaderin Clark (Jeremiah), Kayla and Garrett Core.
