He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Franklin and Sarah DeHart Eller. He is survived by: his wife Janet Eller; his children, Sarah Winfrey (Robert) of Locust, Edwina Messer (Eugene) of Marble and Thurman V. Eller (Brenda) of Cleveland, Georgia; and his sister Virginia Swanson of Hayesville. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
