He is survived by: his son Donny Griggs (April) of Andrews; his siblings, Mae Coffey of Gastonia, Linda Parsons of Gastonia, Charles Griggs of High Point, Junior Griggs of Gastonia and Robert Griggs of Murphy; and his granddaughters, Allie Griggs (Jordon Mathis) of Andrews and Erika Griggs of Andrews.
