She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Cox and Betty Broyhill Cox; her husband Charles Hubert Wellborn; and her siblings, Carson, Don Cox, Vera Cox Hendrix and Anna Lee Cox Miller.
She is survived by: her daughters, Dinah W. Pinney of Boone, Cara W. Osborne (Bryce) of Boone and Jeannie Wellborn of Boone; her grandchildren, Charles Pinney of Boone, Daniel Osborne of Raleigh, Matthew Osborne of Aiken, SC, Paul Wellborn of Boone and Sharon Pinney of Boone; her great grandchildren, Aria Gamradt of Boone and Evelyn Gamradt of Boone; and her sisters, Della Trivette of Triplett and Barbara Melton of Lenoir.
