She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Julia and Joseph Houston; her husband Donald Alan Cunningham of Akron, Ohio; her parents, Robert Roy Snipes and Antionette Houston Snipes; her sister Elizabeth Snipes Keyes of Ashland, Virginia; her daughter Elizabeth C. Epps of Raleigh; and her daughter-in-law Charlotte Cunningham of Point Harbor.

She is survived by: her children, Donald Alan Cunningham, Jr. of Point Harbor, NC and Julia C Alley of Raleigh, NC; her grandsons, Joshua Keith Adcox and Jamey Alan Adcox of Raleigh, NC; her great grandchild Hayley Renee Adcox of Winston Salem, NC.; her brothers, Robert Roy Snipes, Jr. (Faye) of Ashland, Virginia and David Clyde Snipes of Ashland, Virginia; and her nieces and nephews, Courtney Grey Keyes, Leigh Snipes, Kim Snipes Perkins, William Keyes and Roy Snipes.
