He is survived by: his stepfather Haywood Wiley; his wife Juanita Faye Smith Burke; his sons, Richie Burke (Susannah) of Manteo and Pat Burke (Misty) of Manteo; and his grandchildren, Spencer Burke, Skylor Burke, Bennett Burke, Gray Burke, Davis Burke and Coral Burke.
