She was predeceased by: her parents, Leon Hardy Perry of Kitty Hawk and Eva O'Neal Perry of Kitty Hawk; and her siblings, Norman Lee Perry and Leola Perry Toler. She is survived by: her husband Edison Wilton Midgett; her children, Annette Scarborough (Ricky Sr.), Ramona Wescott (Stuart), Gary Midgett (Jeanie), Amy Gamiel (Bobby) and Kenny Midgett (Sandy); her grandchildren, Ricky Jr., Neil, Heath Scarborough, Jamie, Kevin Wescott, Anastasia Wescott Smith, Dailey Rollinson, Parker Midgett, Kassie Mount, Kait Daniels and Reed Midgett; her sister Doris Perry Pruitt; and her sister-in-law Melba Scarborough Perry. She is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren.
