He was predeceased by: his grandmother Helen Herring Gilliard; and his parents, Joseph Timothy Brown and Margaret Helen Gilliard Brown. He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Lynn Stanley Brown; his daughter Christine Lauren Walker (Nathan) of Greenville; and his granddaughter Addelyn Margaret Walker.
