She was predeceased by: her husband Henry Sykes; her siblings, Randolph Ebron, Jasper Ebron, Olivia Ebron, Ruebell Ebron and Eula Mackey; her niece Gwendolyn Mackey; and her friend James Sawyer.
She is survived by: her nephew Jasper Scarborough (Valerie) of Fayetteville, NC; her nieces, Teresa Saunders of Manteo, NC, Barbara-Jean Whitaker of Brooklyn, NY, Tashia Tillett of Columbia, MD, Randolph Mackey, Jasper Mackey, Eric Meekins, Jerome Meekins, Jason Beale, Brian Scarborough, Angela White-Davis, Nichelle Zaidieh, Gwendolyn Meekins, Sherron White and LaKisha Hill; her friends, Joyce Campbell, Earnest Campbell and Essie Brown; and also Tina Tran. She is also survived by nieces/nephews, cousins, and friends.
