She was predeceased by: her parents, Casper "Nookie" and Wilma Hassell Alexander; and her brother Charlie Alexander (Chuck). She is survived by: her daughter Sarah Elizabeth Alexander (Clay); her grandsons, Oliver, Hudson and Linkon of Manteo; and her siblings, Patricia Hamby, Susan Alred (Don), Edna Cole (David) and Ronnie Alexander. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
