She is survived by: her son Gerald Thomas "Pete" Sloan of Manteo, NC; her brothers, Robert Marshburn of Edisto Beach, SC and Thomas Marshburn of Palo Alto, CA; and her grandchildren, Kayla Marie Sloan of Boone, NC, Cameron Kirk Sloan of Frederick, MD and Nathanial Ryan Sloan of Frederick, MD. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
