He is survived by: his wife Betty Carol McClease; his children, Jamie Carol McClease Whitley (Lorenzo "LJ") and James Actwood McClease Jr.; his granddaughter Liliana Amina Whitley; and his siblings, Leroy McClease, Michael, Henry Thrash and Olivia "Sissy" Mclemore.
