Gwendolyn Hopkins Heath Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gwendolyn Hopkins Heath of Manteo, North Carolina, born in Winston Salem, North Carolina, who passed away on February 23, 2021 at the age of 88. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lora Ella Spencer Hopkins and Ambrose "Pete" Hopkins, Jr.; her husband Aubrey Fearing Heath, Sr.; and her siblings, Polly Hunter, Hugh Hopkins and Allen Hopkins.
She is survived by: her sons, Aubrey Heath, Jr. of Manteo and Bryan Heath of Kitty Hawk. She is also survived by five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, please give generously to Kitty Hawk United Methodist Church for a special fund to replace the paraments for new ones to greatly needed which Gwen was "hands-on" with and one of many responsibilities for so many years at "her" church.
