She was predeceased by: her parents, Esther Blake O'Neal Jump and Floyd Robert Jump; her husband Clarence B. Brinn, Jr.; her grandson Jeffrey Brinn; her brothers, Cecil (Kathleen) and David James Jump; and her sister-in-law Jean Jump.
She is survived by: her children, Ruth A. Gibbs (Omega Spencer) of Manteo, NC, Clarence B. "Buddy" Brinn III (Kim Meador) of Shawsboro, NC and Freddy L. Brinn (Melody) of Roanoke, VA; her grandchildren, Rickey Gibbs, Jr., Julian Miller, Jasmin Miller, Jayden Miller, Jordan Miller, Clarence "Lil Buddy" Brinn IV, Shane Brinn, Ryan Brinn, Jamie Crenshaw and Brandon Linkous; and her siblings, Cheryl Jump Simmons of Manteo, NC, Robert Jump of Manns Harbor, NC and Ralph Carl Jump (Patricia) of Manteo, NC. She is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren.
