He was predeceased by: his parents, Shuford David Puett and Perilla Frances Lacks Puett; and his brother Dallas Rabon Puett. He is survived by: his children, Krystal Puett Colvard (Travis) of Fuquay-Varina and Jason Daniel Puett of Roxboro; the mother of his children Deborah Pulliam Puett of Roxboro; his girlfriend Ann Daeke of Manson; his siblings, Donald Wayne Puett (Barbara) of Timberlake and Carolyn Puett Paradis (Lawrence) of Roxboro; and his grandson Ezra Aiden Colvard. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews.
