She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Elizabeth Burkette Jones and Starkey Lebron Jones; and her son Shelton H. Coggsdale, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Thurston Wayne Dickerson; her children, Jamie Lynn Harris (Wesley) of Manson, Paula D. Boddie (Bunn) of Nashville and Michael Wayne Dickerson (Holly) of Raleigh; and her brother Jimmy Jones (Cindy) of Pilot Moutain. She is also survived by six grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the J. M. White Funeral Home (60 Zeb Robinson Rd, Henderson, NC 27536).
