He was predeceased by: his parents, Sibyl Midgett Gard and Cleveland "Key" Gard. He is survived by: his sister Lina Gard Briggs; his nephew Gary Gard (Louann); and his niece Debbie Carlucci (Jeff). He is also survived by seven grandnieces and nephews; and seventeen great-grandnieces and nephews.
