He was predeceased by: his parents, Oris Brown and Algie Spence Brown; and his sisters, Doralene Knight, Gaynelle Hudson, Trilby Batchelor and Katrina Tankersley.
He is survived by: his wife Ida Kelly Brown; his children, Lorri Westover of Mamers, NC, Chris Brown (Elizabeth) of Cameron, NC and Ryan Brown (Misty Bjers) of Mamers, NC; and his sister Barbara Koepp of Broadway, NC. He is also survived by six grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
