He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Mitchell Fish and Ruthie Moore Fish; his son Michael Todd Fish; and his siblings, Helen Alley and Harlen Fish.
He is survived by: his wife Janice "Gail" Huffman Fish; his daughters, Amanda Fish Burke of Maiden and Susan Fish Greene of Maiden; his brother Harold Fish (Martha) of Hickory; his grandchildren, LeAnn Dowell (Troy), Shannon Greene (Damon) and Eric Greene (Sarah); and his great grandchildren, Andrew Munn, Garrett Munn, Betsy Arrigo, Kaydence Greene, John Greene and Urijah Greene.
