With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Shasta Self Duncan of Maiden, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 26, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Self and Ruth Johnson Self; her husband James Winston Duncan; and her siblings, Betty Burgess and Paul Self.
She is survived by: her children, Eric Duncan (Monica) of Maiden and Angela Hensley (Darrell) of Maiden; her siblings, Benny Self of Salisbury, Morris Self (Doris Gastonia) and Myrniss Devine of Iron Station; and her grandchildren, Tanya Jones, Bridgett Brannon, Brenna Frey, Abby Duncan and Alyson Duncan.
