She was predeceased by: her mothers, Dora McKinley Henderson and Elizabeth Keeney Henderson; and her brother David Henderson. She is survived by: her children, Sons, Robert "Bo" Bohanon Jr. (Virginia Bost Bohanon), Kenneth Bohanon (Tina Bohanon) and Deborah Hardeman (Frank Hardeman) of Michigan.

In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to be made to The Lewy Body Dementia Association.
