She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Franklin and Mildred Lorraine Reinhardt Propst; her husband Ray Starr; her grandson Thad Starr; and her siblings, Wayne, John, Hal Propst and Hyacinth Beam.
She is survived by: her children, Tim Starr (Debra Fisher), Sherry Starr-Bradley of Maiden and Phyllis Cline (Dane) of Hickory; her grandsons, Kevin Cline (Teresa), Jeffrey Cline (Holli), Christopher Cline (Tiffany), Spencer Cline (Kim) and Dr. Brett Starr (Whitney); her sister Vivian Biggs of Maiden; and her close friend George Catledge of Maiden.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Burke Mortuary (1101 E Maiden Rd, Maiden, NC 28650). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Westside Baptist Church (408 W Carpenter St, Maiden, NC 28650).
