She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Harold Scronce and Blonnie Lucillle Speagle Scronce; her husband John Henry Scronce, Sr.; and her brother Ray Scronce. She is survived by: her children, John Henry Scronce, Jr. of Vale and Amy Suzette S. Gales (Rick) of Lincolnton; her siblings, Keith Scronce (Audrey) of Vale, Jeff Scronce of Vale, Carolyn S. Whitesides (Sam) of Vale, Wanda Kay S. McAllister (Ronnie) of Lincolnton, Sandra S. Wilkinson (Garry) of Denver and Mary Ann S. Rogers (Don) of South Carolina; and her sister-in-law Donna P. Scronce of Vale. She is also survived by four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
A reception was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Daniels Lutheran Church (3170 Reepsville Rd, Lincolnton, NC 28092).
