It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Johnny Edward Walker of Maiden, North Carolina, who passed away on August 22, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, J. B. Walker and Ethel Walker; his wife Harolene Walker; his brothers, Grady and Larry Walker; his close friend Freddie Henry; his sister-in-law Carolyn; and his great grandchild Phoenix Gray Stevenson.
He is survived by: his children, Keith Walker (Candy), Ronnie Walker (Lisa), Patrick Walker (Alicia) and Shamberly Drum (Todd); his grandchildren, Benjamin Frye (Crystal), Johnny "JBird" Walker (Maggie), Andrew Walker, Meredith Luther, Ethan Luther, Katheryn Walker, James Walker, Johnny "Johnny Paul" Walker, Taylor Wisenbaler (Joe), Aaron Waldrop, Natalie Payseur (Luke), Cierra Stevenson (Deejay) and Elizabeth Drum; and his siblings, Jerry, Steve Walker (Lorie), Dot Fish (Donald), Frances Rinehardt (Neal), Janice Osborne and Glenda Lowman. He is also survived by other nieces, nephews, and friends.
