He is survived by: his wife Mary Beth; his daughter Jamie Wilson; his son-in-law Ted of Blowing Rock; his son Bryan Hickman; his daughter-in-law Courtney; his grandchildren, Ethan and Harper of Wilmington; his siblings, JoAnn (Johnny Cox), Mary Ellen (Ray Kunza), Yogi (Gail Hickman) and Hoss (Verette Hickman); his siblings-in-law, Jim and Debbie Capps of Raleigh; and his nieces and nephews, Will Hickman, Carey Cox, Brett Hickman, Sam Hickman, Josh Capps and Joanna Watson.
