He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Bryant and Ara Lowe Huitt; and his siblings, Bobby Huitt, Joe Huitt, Junior Huitt, Mickey Sanford and Dean Huitt.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Setzer Huitt; his daughters, Lisa H. Walker (Ronnie) of Hickory and Amy H. Jarrett (Scott) of Maiden; his grandchildren, Meredith Luther, Ethan Luther, Adam Cansler and Katie Lawing (Anthony); his great grandchildren, Grant and Austin Lawing; and his grandchild Aubree Cansler.
